The Happier, The Better

Last May 20, the Department of Education (Deped) Region 1 had launched the “Happy School Movement” (HSM) where in the selected students from different schools in Vigan Convention Center. This project aims to the learners being the center of educational system should be treated with tender love and care while teachers should not only be a teacher that supplies knowledge and information but also providers of comfort, warmth and love where in children can consider their school as a second home with full of happiness.

July 2019 when the Deped chose us to attend the Happy School Movement at Convention Center. We are so lucky because not all students in ISNHS are invited. I saw many exhibits that related to HSM. Before we started to explore the exhibits, they introduce first what Happy School Movement is. Then, we explored the different exhibits. Different exhibits, different information you can get.

So what I have to say is so perfect. Because school with many happy thoughts to teacher and student can make the school more progressive. The students can also share their problems to their teacher and comfort or help them if there is problem or mistakes happened in their life. This can also help to decrease the rating of suicide in students especially in high school because they can get advice on what they should do.
